O U Left Us 2? David Lee Roth left. Sammy Hagar's gone. And now, Gary Cherone, a Van Halen frontman since 1996, has parted ways as well, according to E! Online News. The band says the split was amicable.

G N’ R in Y2K. MTV reports that veteran Guns N’ Roses members Axl Rose and keyboardist Dizzy Reed will be joined by ex-Vandals drummer Josh Freese and ex-Replacements bassist Tommy Stinson for the first G N’ R album since 1991’s Use Your Illusion. The new album, Chinese Democracy, is set for release in 2000.
